This piece by Eugenio Ampudia illustrates a vision of circular time. In Time, letters move and distort on a canvas thanks to their connection to robotic mechanisms. This creates a repetitive image and illustrates how instants occur as a consequence of the application of a physical law. In Time, time turns in a circle, as the mechanisms repeat actions and cause the existence of similar hours. This demonstrates the presence of a controller element, of a destination, that governs the movement of the letters that form the word ‘time’.
